VetFran Provides New Educational Resource
Industry leaders, IFA board members share best-in-class education via videos.
In only a few weeks after its completion, the VetFran Video Library has received much attention from both veterans interested in the franchise industry and franchise businesses. The library is only one of the many resources available through the International Franchise Association’s VetFran program in which IFA member companies offer financial incentives, training and mentoring to veterans interested in small-business ownership or a career path in franchising.
With the support of McDonald’s Vice Pres., Global Franchising John Kujawa, CFE, a U.S. Coast Guard veteran, VetFran created a series of videos during a daylong seminar at McDonald’s University. Each video can be found in the VetFran Toolkit, designed to enable veterans to understand and assess franchising and its opportunities. Covering the fundamentals of franchising, legal issues, finance and more, the videos provide best-in-class education from the perspective of industry leaders and IFA board members. Franchising 101 for Veterans
Michael Seid, CFE, (U.S. Army), CEO of MSA Worldwide and co-author of “Franchising for Dummies” and DLA Piper Partner Rich Morey, CFE, present an introduction to franchising.
