Franchises Add 12,305 Jobs In July

After a very strong June in which franchises added over 27,000 jobs, the franchise sector added only 12,300 jobs in July according to the latest ADP National Franchise Report. While positive, this number is a four-month low. This result mirrors the national numbers as the employer survey in July was also a four-month low.

Leading the way this month was the restaurant industry with nearly 3,000 new jobs added in July. Followed by business services, auto parts and dealers, and food retailers, which all added over 1,500 jobs.

This brings the industry total to 8.02 million franchise jobs throughout the economy. See the breakdown below.
