The franchise sector continued to expand in June with over 19,000 new private sector franchise jobs added and a 0.3 percent increase in the Franchise Business Index (FBI). These gains reflect the 2nd Quarter Franchise Business Economic Outlook, which forecasts a 2.0 percent growth in employment in the franchise industry, compared to just a 1.5 percent growth in the economy at large.
